From the Garden to the Heights

The longest surah revealed in Makkah. It starts at the first confrontation there ever was — Iblīs refusing to bow, and swearing to lie in wait on the straight path — and follows that one quarrel down through Nūḥ, Hūd, Ṣāliḥ, Lūṭ, Shuʿayb and Mūsā, to the people standing on the Heights between the Garden and the Fire.
