The case for One God, argued whole

There is hardly a law in it. From its first word of praise to its last, this surah does one thing: it argues — with the sky, the grain splitting in the earth, the soul taken in sleep and returned at dawn — that there is no god but Allah. More than forty times it hands the Prophet ﷺ his answer in a single word: Say.
