“My heart almost flew”

A nobleman of Quraysh, come to Madinah to bargain for the prisoners of Badr, stood outside the mosque at sunset and heard this surah. When it reached its run of questions — were they created from nothing, or are they the creators? — he said his heart nearly took flight. It was the first time faith settled in it.
