What stays, and what is carried off

Rain falls; each valley fills to its own measure; the flood comes down carrying a crest of foam. The foam is thrown aside and gone. What is of use to people stays in the ground. That, says this surah, is truth and falsehood — and it says it under a sky in which the thunder itself is glorifying Allah.
